ABSTRACT: The benefits of early childhood education in promoting health equity are critical for addressing disparities in health outcomes from an early age. This study investigates how early childhood education programs contribute to promoting health equity. The objectives are to (1) assess improvements in children's health knowledge and behaviors, (2) evaluate the integration of health equity activities in early childhood education curricula, and (3) examine changes in community access to healthcare services. A survey design is justified as it facilitates comprehensive data collection on educational impacts on health equity promotion. A purposive sample of 120 children aged 4-6 years, from underserved communities in Rivers State, ensures relevant experiences. The case study focuses on an early childhood education center known for its health promotion initiatives. Findings indicated significant improvements in children's health knowledge and behaviors, effectiveness of health equity education activities, and positive changes in community access to healthcare services. Recommendations include integrating health equity education into early childhood curricula and collaborating with healthcare providers to enhance access to quality healthcare for children in underserved communities.
